NRB recently drew the short stick in 2 wars, having a 3 TH10 deficit in one war and a 2 TH10 deficit in the other. Despite feeling initially overwhelmed with the thought of having to face TH10's as TH9's, we ended up winning both wars decisively. Let's take a peek at both wars and see how it played out.
The first war was versus the clan "Brew Hops" and was a 20 v 20 war we won 55-37. As you might expect, their TH10's were fairly rushed in regards to walls and heroes, but still having to deal with inferno towers as a TH9 can be a challenge. Here were their top 3 bases.

We tried for 2 stars on the TH10 bases but were only able to 2 star the #3. The keys to our winning this war boiled down to 2 things. First, we 3 starred every base but the top 3 and matched their stars on our top 3. Second, their troops and attacks were unable to equally 3 star bases 4-20 on our side. I want to highlight a couple of excellent attacks from this war that helped enable our win. Shout out to Stanna1802, Marshall and Asian Invasion for their great attacks!
Congrats to the clan on a well-deserved and well-fought victory!
The next war featured NRB vs Fatal Fusion in a 15 v 15 war that had us matched with a 2 TH10 deficit. NRB won 39-28 in a desicive victory that featured crushing attacks from our top TH9's against their TH10's. Fatal Fusion was unable to match our stars and that was their fatal flaw this war.
Both attacks on their TH10's featured crushing GoWiWi's. Despite having one target's Inferno's to multi and the other to single, similar approaches were used to overwhelm the Infernos and demolish the bases. Shoutout to Danny and P 19 for these excellent attacks.
Not every seemingly "mismatched" war will end the way you initially think. No matter what, stay focused, think outside the box, bring your "A" game and you may very well walk away with a win!
