WAR SPECIFIC QUESTIONS
Why was I left out of war when my status was set to "in" OR why was I opted in when my status was set to "out"?
Wars are done in multiples of 5. If we have a number that doesn't fit, sometimes we have to bench players who were opted in or call up players who were opted out. Those decisions are made on a case-by-case basis. If you were benched for war, just use the time to raid and/or get an upgrade going or head to feeder for war there. There will be other wars you'll be in. If you were called up from the bench into war and are opted out, your battles are optional and we'll have a plan for covering those attacks.
What do I need in order to be included in war?
Wars are all about trying to gain more stars on offense than your base loses on defense. It's a delicate balance but some of the things we look for include having at least 1 war troop at max for your town hall level. (ie. lvl 2 drags at TH7, lvl 3 drags/lvl 4 hogs/lvl 3 pekkas at TH8, lvl 6 loons/lvl 5 hogs/lvl 4 golems at TH9) Your base should also have walls and defenses that aren't lagging behind normal development. If you have specific questions regarding base or troop development, ask in game chat or on Band, we'll be happy to try to provide a more direct answer there.
What attack should I use?
Our recommended attack strategies are here.
Can I choose what is in my war clan castle?
Yes! We have a war clan castle troop menu with suggested troops. Simply put the requested troops in your war cc request text. We do want it formatted exactly as it is shown there to make it easy to load. Please remember to update this during war prep of your first war with us.
Who fills the clan castles?
Anyone with max minus 1 troops can fill and should share in the work. Yes, that's right, we have the level 5 perk so max minus one gets upgraded to max.
When do clan castles get filled?
Great question! We expect everyone with the appropriate troops to share in filling the war clan castles in an expeditious manner. ex·pe·di·tious (adj) - right now, like as soon as war is declared!!!
How do I choose my first opponent?
On battle day, a clan mail will be sent out specifying the targets. Follow the specified plan.
How do I choose my second opponent?
After your first attack is completed, consult with a Co or Leader to determine where your battle will most effectively be used. We require all attacks to be used in war, no matter what the score is, to the best of your ability.
***Any member who misses both attacks in war will be auto-opted out of the next two wars***
***Any member who misses one attack in war will be auto-opted out of the next one war***
Can I sit out this war?
The bench is reserved for situations where a player is truly unable to attack during a war. No internet connection, spell factory upgrade, Hero upgrade, etc. If you've got one of those situations coming up, let a Co know.
Who do I attack?
In short, this clan is all about 3 stars for TH9's and below. So, if you are 50% certain of a 3 star and everyone lower than this opponent is not 3 starred, then you probably have the wrong opponent. If you are 90% certain, then it is probably the correct opponent. There is not an easy answer to this question and it changes from war to war, but you will get a feel for it. A co-leader will let you know when you are going too high or too low on the map. Remember, stars are tracked and you will be asked to leave if your 3 star percentage is not up to our standards.
When do I attack?
If you are a low TH9 or any TH8, we need you to use your first attack no later than the first 6 hours of war and have both attacks in within the first 12 hours of war. Having those lower battles done early are critical. Questions? Talk to a Co.
